- Ask about the insurance coverage the company offers. Make sure it carries Workers Compensation Insurance so you won’t be responsible if there are any accidents on your property. Also, the moving company should carry insurance on your property as well.
- Accept only the estimates that are made in person. An estimate online or over the phone isn’t accurate and is subject to additional charges. Ask for a written estimate, and don’t accept a verbal one.
